Library at Wellesley

At the centre of our school lies a thoughtfully designed library that inspires and ignites our boys’ passion for reading through a diverse collection of books.

A welcoming space for all readers

The Wellesley Library supports all readers with a carefully selected range of fiction and non-fiction options, including a dedicated senior section that grows with boys’ developing interests and reading abilities. Open during break times for all boys, the library is a welcoming space for the whole Wellesley community.

Weekly sessions that build lifelong readers

Our librarian works with every class through weekly sessions, ensuring each boy is engaged, challenged and develops a life-long love of reading. These structured sessions help boys learn how to use the library resources and select appropriate books.

Resources beyond the shelves

Boys can access our collection, reserve books, create reading lists, and explore an extensive selection of ebooks by logging into our school hub. This digital extension of our library ensures that reading opportunities continue beyond the physical library walls, giving boys the flexibility to discover new stories and information whenever curiosity strikes.
